2020.11.27 21:18 zxsazxsa I would like to launch a media campaign in anticipation of #LightTheWorld which shares truthful yet widely unknown fractal about church history. We’ll call it #EnlightenTheWorld
Seeing how most of the church’s efforts this holiday season are on guilting members to share propaganda on social media, I would like to have something else to share and talk about.
EnlightenTheWorld Imagine sharing truths as simple and terrifying as these:

2020.11.27 21:18 Za_3014 Questions regarding my beginning bitcoin situation
I am interested in using bitcoin as a long term investment. Buying small amounts 200/300 dollars a few times a year.
I don't plan on making many if any purchases using bitcoin. Basically just to cash out at some point.
I am in Canada if that is relevant to the answer.
Am I better off using an exchange like Bitbuy they have fees for deposit withdrawal trades. Bitbuy claims to be completely insured is that accurate?
An exchange like newton which has no fees but takes a cut on bid/ask spread?
In terms of the wallets what happens if a hardware wallet is damaged is the bitcoin lost? When I research the hardware they are selling packs of 3 what is the purpose of having more than 1? Extra storage space or can you back them up?
Should I use one of these online wallets like Samourai?
The whole process seems confusing to me so part of me wants to just buy an ETF like QBTC.U on the TSX or use Wealthsimple to buy bitcoin but I won't actually own it. I am not sure if these options are safer than owning the actual coin or not.
Thanks for your help!

2020.11.27 21:18 lordlabia Torn posterior superior labrum and some more stuff in my shoulder...What now?
I (M,22)--145 lbs, 5'7, no medications or previous health issues, non-smoker, and had pain for 3+ years in right shoulder--just found out I tore my posterior superior labrum and some other stuff in my shoulder...
I can't upload a photo of my MRI results, so I have copy and pasted the doctor's report below:
Torn posterior superior labrum
Degenerative signal within the anterior superior labrum.
Torn superior glenoid humeral ligament
Attenuated appearance of the middle glenohumeral ligament with fraying of the labral glenoid attachment of the moderate glenohumeral ligament.
Minimal undersurface fraying and/or minimal partial-thickness tearing of the undersurface of the anterior infraspinatus
Electronically Signed By: (anonymous), MD 11/24/2020 11:09 AM CST
Narrative MRI arthrogram of the right shoulder
TECHNIQUE: Routine MR arthrogram of the right shoulder was performed after the intra-articular administration of dilute gadolinium.
INDICATION: Shoulder pain. Superior labral lesion, limited range of motion
Labrum and labral ligamentous structures: There is abnormal contrast extending to the substance of the posterior superior labrum compatible with posterior superior labral tear. There is degenerative signal noted within the anterior mid portion of the superior labrum. The superior glenohumeral ligament appears attenuated and heterogeneous appearance suggestive of remote injury. The middle glenohumeral ligament also appears somewhat attenuated and fraying of the glenoid labral attachment of the middle glenohumeral ligament. The inferior glenohumeral ligament appears intact..
Supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons: There is minimal undersurface fraying and/or partial-thickness tearing with interstitial tear involving the anterior fibers of the infraspinatus tendon.
Subscapularis tendon: Intact
Long head biceps tendon: Intact and normal position.
Teres minor tendon: Intact
Muscles: Normal in size and signal.
AC joint: Within normal limits
Subacromial/subdeltoid bursa: No fluid or distention.
Subcoracoid bursa: No fluid distention.
Glenohumeral cartilage: No cartilage defect.
Bone marrow signal: Unremarkable
Soft tissues: Post arthrogram changes
TL:DR My shoulder is mangled and I don't know what this MRI report means

2020.11.27 21:18 NeverNotHangry No-Code Fantasy BBall Analytics Giveaway
Hi guys, happy thanksgiving!
I'm part of a young startup called Rolling Insights.
Rolling Insights is a no-code tool that takes the data you care about (stats, injuries, schedules, depth charts, your league data, etc.) and brings it all into one central location that automatically updates for you and is specific to you and your league. We're trying to save you time so you don't need to manually update spreadsheets. We're starting with Yahoo! leagues and going from there.
Since its Black Friday/Cyber Monday I wanted to open up the wait list for the community – the waitlist is open to an UNLIMITED number of people from now until Monday at midnight MST. I know a few people missed the 100 person limit last time and we didn’t want folks to miss out.
Anyone who joins the waitlist this time around will get their first month of the Fan Plan free, (normally $9/month) but we also have a free tier (called Lite) and a deluxe tier (called Pro) if you want to level up or down.
If you’re interested please consider signing up on the waitlist (no credit card required) at https://rolling-insights.com/ or tell me what you think of this idea. Thanks!

2020.11.27 21:18 ficerc Justin Herbert has been voted Rookie of the Week for the seventh time. This puts him in second place alongside Baker Mayfield, Gardner Minshew, and Alvin Kamara for the most in a season. Earning two more would tie him with Ben Roethlisberger for the most ever.

My school computer fried. Luckily I’m in Dallas for the weekend and went and got everything for a new build at Microcenter. Even hours after opening they still had 5600x and 5800x cpus in stock. I may assemble the computer in the coming days if no offers are received, in which case I will notify others that it will be a used/opened product.

2020.11.27 21:18 Buttery_Man_Paws Confused on which functions return vs update their argument
I'm very new to Python, I apologize if this is a dumb question.
I'm having a hard time remembering which functions update their argument vs which return their argument (if that's the right term).
For example, to lowercase a string, you need to type: string = string.lower() But if you want to sort a list, you type: list.sort() Instead of: list = list.sort()
Why are these different/ how can I remember them having different syntaxes? Thank you.

2020.11.27 21:18 The_Fluffy_Walrus Maybe a long shot, but does anyone know how big the small variant of the Swiss "salt and pepper" rucksack is compared to the large variant?
My younger brother directed me towards this subreddit so I'm sorry if there's a better place I could ask this. I've managed to finally track down a seller for each of them, but I'm not sure which one to buy. I know the dimensions for both but I'm having a hard time visualizing how big they actually are and if the larger variant is too big for every day use.
