Hey, I'm looking for a remote job. I recently finished college and I'm looking for a role as a blogger or influencer manager.
I've run facebook ads in the past, written SEO friendly content, managed projects, and even played a hand at client servicing. If you know anyone who's hiring for remote jobs, please reply to this post or message me.

2020.11.25 17:54 GannibalCarca The argument that "objective morality" can only be through god is absurd and unnecessary. If free will exists, the concept of "morality" is unnecessary and misleading concept and is nothing to do with behavior pattern that serve well being of humans and other living things.
The concept of "morality" is a concept used in daily discussions that atheists cannot objectively have it and therefore atheists are accused by being open to commit all kinds of crimes. However, the values that are desired to be protected by the concept of "morality" are subjective and vary from culture to culture.
For example, one religion may consider it immoral to kill innocent people, while another religion may consider it moral to sacrifice innocent human beings for their gods. There have been thousands of religions with such different moral values in history.
If we focus on to satisfy the commands of a cult or a god, the principles presented under the name of "morality" may be suitable for this, but if we focus on the well being of people and other living beings, "morality" has nothing to do with this issue. This is where discussions on the concept of "morality" get stuck and mislead those who discuss if atheists have objective morality. Morality is not directly related to behaviors that serve the good or evil of others.
First of all, I want to examine why a person does a behavior. In an environment where we assume free will exist, the cause of a behavior cannot be completely deterministic. Because this contradicts with free will. If free will brings "free choices" with it, these choices can be based on reasons but cannot be based on another reason at one point or another. However, these reasons cannot be deterministically based on an absolute cause. If there was an absolute cause there would be no free will. With free will, we actually choose what reason and point of view we want to rely on.
Let me give oversimplified examples to clarify (contains assumptions):
*The person named Michael wants to fulfill the commands of the god he believes in.
> Why does he wants to fulfill the commands of god?: Because Michael wants to go to heaven.
> Why does he wants to go to heaven?: Because he can do what he enjoys in heaven and he wants to get that pleasure.
> Why does he wants to enjoy?: Because he wants to enjoy. Why does he wants to enjoy?: Because he wants to enjoy. (goes on)
What I am trying to explain with this example is that no matter how long we extend causation, there will be a reason on which the person rests in essence, and this cause has no reason. This reason was chosen freely. Michael wants to enjoy, and his behavior is shaped accordingly. Therefore he obeys the decrees of God.
Likewise, an atheist who cares about the well-being of another humans or living beings can be based on free will.
*For example John helps people and avoids hurting them.
> Why does John help people and avoid harming them? : Because John doesn't want people to suffer and he wants them to live in good situations like himself.
> Why does John want this? : Because John wants any sentient living being to live well, happy and painless life. Why does John want this? > Because John wants everyone's well being. Why does John want this? > Because John wants everyone's well being (goes on)
As you can see, the main reason John rests on his choice is "well being of everyone". (John's reason for this could be that everyone's well-being made him happy but some people even doesn't care if they die for well being of others so John's reason can be main reason too).
Of course, the example I gave is an incredibly simplified version of the issue. and I would understand the criticism of the example, but I hope the subject is understood. Any choice based on free will must be based on an absolute cause, and person freely chooses this absolute cause.
Therefore, an atheist as well as a believer can want everyone's well-being as an absolute cause. A believer or an atheist can choose to care only for himself/herself and want to harm others for pleasure as an absolute cause.
In this case, the argument that the rules sent by God form the basis of a morality is unnecessary. Moral principles do not provide an objective basis for shaping behaviors that benefit or harm others.
On the contrary, dogmatic moral principles can contain harmful elements such as human slaughter, torture, warmongering, human sacrifice, animal sacrifice, slavery, sex slavery, abuse, rape etc. So the subject of the "objective morality" debate is not about "well-being" or "harm", so this argument must be meaningless for atheists.

2020.11.25 17:54 CivilProjectEngineer HELP with array of an array
I'm pretty new to Revit, so hopefully this will be an easy answer, haha.
Here's a picture of my basic setup, with my issues: https://imgur.com/a/BBnXUWi
I'm trying to model a block family with holes in it. The length of the block is always the same, but the width and height change. As it gets bigger, it should have more holes (I will be having set sizes). So like a block with a 3x3 grid of holes is 25.5"W x 25.5"H, and a block with a 5x5 grid of holes is 40.5"W x 40.5"H.
So anyway, I've made the width, length, and height parametric, and then I made the first cylindrical void extrusion in the lower left. I arrayed the hole in one direction (rows), and made it parametric, and then arrayed that array in the other direction (columns), and also made that parametric.
ok, so when I resize my block, and add in the correct number of holes, SOME of the voids don't cut through the material, even though they still show up in orange/yellow(see my pic). It's always the same holes. Any idea what's going on here and why it's not cutting some of the voids in the double-array? Should I be approaching this in a different way?
