2021.01.15 18:44 Prize-Dust Transfer funds within questrade
I've requested a fund transfer in questrade. I've requested $1000 to transfer from my TFSA (withdrawal) to my margin account. I don't have $1000 in cash in TFSA, would questrade just transfer random $1000 worth of my stock in TFSA to my margin? Or should I sell my stock first to convert them to cash to facilitate the transfer?
Can't find the doc on their website regarding this.

2021.01.15 18:44 anonanonanonanona19 Tretinoin and retinol please help
Can I also ask for some help in regards to tretinoin and retinol 1% by the ordinary? Can I use these products on alternative nights (with vitamin c on other nights)? Or should I stick to only one? I've just purchased both?
Also can I use the ordinary hyaluronic acid 2 + b5 daily? (After cleansing) do I use tretinoin/retinol/vitamin c before the hyaluronic acid or after? Or do I use it after moisturiser???
Please help I'm so confused 😭 thanks in advance
If someone could help me form a skincare routine with these in mind that would be great!

I started playing this game shortly after launch, when most of the major glitches had been fixed. But I was wondering if someone could please summarize what some of the main updates have brought to the experience?
Thank you so much 😊

2021.01.15 18:44 whollydisposable My experience of being diagnosed with autism reminds me of others transitioning(and detransitioning) experience
I’m very worried about posting this, as I hope I don’t hurt or offend anyone. English is not my first language, so I worry about finding the right words.
At a fairly young age, I was diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. The reasons given were that I usually played alone, didn’t talk very much, especially not with strangers, seemingly flat affect, and that my interests were strange and unusual (though I didn’t really hyperfixate on one single thing).
But something didn’t sit right with me, the interventions never felt like they hit the right spots, the “big reveal” was never of aid to me. The more I read about and listened to autistic people, the more I doubted my diagnosis.
I experienced the downsides without the perks, the stigma and discrimination without the deep understanding of yourself (and from other people) most diagnosed persons describe. Just being labelled has made things much more difficult when dealing with the health care system, as people speak over my head and infantilize me.
My youth was spent in isolation feeling deeply lost and broken, wondering what was really wrong with me. I never found a place in the “neurodivergent community”, and I guess I never will, but I’m also viewed as an outsider by people who consider themselves neurotypical.
The experience that seems to be closest to mine seems to be that of people who have transitioned, but something still doesn’t feel right, and now they want to detransition.
Please don’t misunderstand, I’m not saying that trans people doesn’t exist, I believe that their pain is valid, and I believe that transitioning is the right choice for some and very important for them. But transitioning is not right for every queer person or person that doesn’t confirm to gender roles. Some say that they feel pushed into making a quick decision, and they feel like their transition wasn’t as much about their own needs as other people projecting on them and trying to sway their actions.
And I feel like some of the points also apply to my situation. I do believe that autism exists, that getting a diagnosis is helpful to many, that autism is a lifelong condition(when the diagnosis is correct), and that many people doesn’t want or need a cure even if one is ever discovered.
But I don’t believe that an autism diagnosis is a “fix-all” which will never have any negative consequences for anyone diagnosed. I also think the autism label is thrown around too easily in many situations. People see one possible symptom, and they jump to the conclusion, for themselves, for their loved ones, even for fictional characters.
It’s often seen as an extremely helpful suggestion, as many autistic people wishes they were discovered earlier. But as someone who has had a distressing experience myself, I find that my levels of anxiety and stress rise when autism is suggested for almost every character or person who shows some level of quirkiness.
There is no “detransitioning from an autism label and identity” discussion, and I understand why, as the suggestion would be offensive and unhelpful to most. But for the 0,1 % of us that are questioning, sceptical, probably misdiagnosed, have suffered harmful effects?
I feel like I’m in a no-win situation, when I do anything that could be viewed as a symptom, I must be autistic. And if I don’t seem autistic? “Aha! You’re masking!”
And as many peoples autism isn’t discovered until later in life, it seems like popular opinion is “Autism is misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed!” If you’re on the opposite side, your experience is almost never validated.
Also, I think the difference is huge, geographically. I grew up in a place where autism was a fairly common topic compared to other countries or even other counties, so I’m not surprised if it’s the first thing people look for here, the last thing they look for in other places.
Last night I read another comment about how “doubting your own diagnosis is just internalized ableism, and autism is so often undiagnosed, so that if you’re diagnosed, you’re autistic. You’re just in denial.”
Even though it wasn’t directed at me, I was just hit by my own pain and that person’s possible pain. How even when you try to vent about your personal experience, you’re branded as an ableist.
I’m just so tired of being invalidated in almost every aspect of my life, and I feel like a huge tangle of cumulative trauma.
