2021.03.05 13:12 samhaines90 Twitter Suspension: Questionable Support Response
I got banned back in early January. I made a joke about 'stop the steal' and immediately my account was suspended without notice or reasoning. It was just locked. Clearly, I assumed I was a victim of their automated ban system...as in perhaps stop the steal just triggered an auto-suspension by their algorithm. I had never been suspended before and only occasionally had my account locked for "suspicious activity" which quickly was rectified when I confirmed my phone number.
After two months of weekly responses to my support ticket, I finally got a response. "Your account will remain permanently suspended for repeated violations of our guidelines. Do not respond to this e-mail as further requests will not be monitored." Well, I was very confused as I had never been suspended or warned by support before and still don't have a reason and obviously "repeated violations" doesn't offer me much insight given I never have been notified of a prior violation.
I've moved on and even if I had the account back, wasn't sure I'd use it (perhaps follow some people I lost touch with). I was just hoping it'd be overturned so my new account won't at some point be thrown out too. Anyone else have this issue?

Caustic will always be very good in the final ring. It's the ideal situation for him and you can't just nerf him because it impacts his performance anywhere else too, where he doesn't perform very well. Caustic needs a rework in order to be less annoying in the last ring, but still be useful or even powerful in early/mid games
Caustic rework Ultimate: Instead of having one gas grenade, it is now split into 3 smaller grenades. Each grenade needs 33% ultimate charge and has to be thrown separately. The gas cloud from these grenades are smaller and stay for a shorter amount.
Charging the ultimate: Caustic is able to make gas grenades out of his traps, each 33% of ultimate charge now requires a gas trap to be converted. In order to convert a gas trap, you have to place it down and then convert. After conversion the trap "deactivates" and it needs to recharge normally. If a gas grenade is thrown/active, no gas traps can be converted for that period.
Nerfs:
- Friendly legends are now slowed in the gas. (50% as back in the day)
- Ultimate accelerants don't work.
Possible nerfs/tweaks:
- Throw range
- Gas cloud size
- Gas could remain time
- Trap recharge time
- Gas grenades lose charge over time (like the sentinel)
- Caustic can't pick up normal grenades(arc star, thermite, grenade)
- Caustic converts normal grenades to gas grenades instead of traps.
Reasoning Caustic is a very interesting defender. His playstyle is much more aggressive than usual. But this was nerfed and nerfed from time to time. Giving him much less aggressive potential, making him more of a stock defender. This now changes. He is now restored to his former glory. You can be aggressive with the gas grenades but you give up some defensive utility. Gas grenades are overall weaker than traps. They can't block doors, or can't deter enemies passively, (like an enemy sees a trap and decides not to engage, so you still have the trap and you still deterred the enemy). and don't give physical cover.
But now he has other weaknesses. Your teammates can't push (as effectively) with you while in the gas, which increases Caustic's and his team's skill ceiling. You trade traps to grenades, so if you are not prepared you can't use both. His traps recharge the same way so you can have 3 traps and 3 grenades but it requires you to convert 3 traps before, and have them recharged, which costs time, and you can be caught off guard.
In the final ring Caustic now has to throw 3 grenades to get a cloud close to the size of the original. But he can divide his attention. He can gas 2 or 3 squads directly, but they can escape the gas easier. And if the ring is as small as the cloud, then your team also has a disadvantage, the 50% slow. Also in order to convert traps you have to throw them, which could give away your exact position in final rings.

Searching for legit ad-blocking DNS-over-TLS, I figured out this page: https://www.privacytools.io/providers/dns/ This is a good practice? Could slow down my internet? Any privacy concerns? Seems too good to be true...

People highly value authenticity. When you put on a front, it signals to others that you are trying to cover something up. By actively and try-hardily attempting to create a positive image of yourself in other people's minds, you most likely only end up making yourself look worse.
However, if you are a super unconfident, needy, validation seeking person, then communicating these unattractive traits, even if done so in an authentic way, is also not going to benefit you. Thus you should work to become the best version of yourself. This is done by improving yourself and your social skills so that you can honestly communicate what makes you attractive.
