Does anyone suppose there will be some sort of “automatic area generator” (for lack of a better term) a la Sectors Without Number in the works for WWN? Not that I mind rolling the dice by hand, it was just neat to be able to spew out whole sectors ready made with that tool, and I could certainly see folks making use of something similar for WWN.

Given the recent rise in prices, it's getting more and more difficult to put together a team without spending a fortune. At this point, players from lower leagues clearly offer bargains, but at the same time it's hard to have a clear view on their performance, injuries or transfer rumours. I reckon that in this community, even if not very large yet, there might be redditors from different countries. Wouldn't it be interesting to have a post where we can all contribute and share our views on prospects and top performers?
As an example, I am quite knowledgeable about Serie A. I play multiple fantasy football leagues and watch at least 4 matches during the weekend. At the same time, I don't have a clue of what is going on in the Jupiler League or in the Ekstraklasa.
At the moment, there's only a few clubs from Serie A, so I'm having a hard time in putting my knowledge to use. I am sure that soon more clubs will join Sorare, and when that happens I'll be comfortable making higher bids, because I'll know what I'm paying for. For the time being, though, I lack the expertise on lower leagues to do that, but I'm sure somebody else in here could have it.
Would anybody else be interested in creating a post where league experts can put their weekly/monthly buy/don't buy recommendations?

2021.03.02 17:54 RealmMaster21 Steelseries QcK Review - Spicy Takes
Hey all, I'm RealmMaster also known as Mensch (follow my Twitter @ M3N5CH shameless plug) and today I'm going to give my review of the Steelseries QcK. I used this mousepad for about 8 months in 2019 and I think I have a pretty solid and based opinion on this pad. Let's get into it, if you like what you see, please leave an upvote.
Unboxing/Packaging/Sizes
- The QcK regardless of size comes rolled up in a cardboard box, pretty basic
- The QcK comes in some interesting sizes. Firstly you have a small (250 mm x 210 mm)and medium-size (320 mm x 270 mm). Don't buy these. For most people's mouse sensitivity this will be too small. Probably the two most relevant sizes are the large ( 450 mm x 400 mm ) and the XL which is oddly not available on a standard QcK (900 mm x 300mm). Both of these sizes are very slightly non-standard.
- There are also 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL sizes which are all quite big. These are deskmat sizes with the 5XL being 1600 mm x 800 mm.
- As far as sizes go if you need a big mat you can have one but there are also a number of small-to-the-point-of-being-useless-sized mousepads. The XL is also really short. I'm not too fond of the sizing.
- The QcK uses a really basic cloth surface that boasts a "high thread count"
- No matter how many times Steelseries says this is a legendary mousepad it's really a quite basic mousepad
- However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing as the bad is extremely smooth. It's also pretty slow and I think it falls into the "mud pad zone." I don't think the pad has a coating but it will definitely wear down.
- The surface really shows wear however it can be hand washed. Thanks, Steelseries, really not even letting us machine wash your super basic cloth bad
- The surface isn't waterproof or resistant, it'll soak right through
- PTFE skates and even older Teflon ones are effective on this pad
- The QcK standard and heavy models do not have stitched edges and this is an issue. I was a heavy wrist aimer when I used the pad and when I used the QcK. Because my arm and wrist were always on the mousepad within months the edges of my bad frayed and now the pad feels annoying to use.
- Steelseries did do a good job on the rubber base, it doesn't move on my desk or on top of another mousepad
- The pad has a Steelseries logo STAMPED on the corner. It's a different surface and you will feel it under your mouse. Very cringe
- Even though the pad is uncoated it will get slower with wear
- If you leave your arm on the desk you will mess up this mousepad's stitched edges
- Beyond that, the pad does get dirty and will need to be washed
I'm really conflicted on this pad. On the one hand, it's so cheap, with a Large pad costing only $15. But on the other hand, you do need to upgrade to the edge pad or you'll have a frayed pad. I really am not sure how long this pad would last you as far as the surface goes. I think this pad is really only for one type of person and that's someone on a big budget. IF you want a good control pad, allow me to direct you to the Gamesense Radar sold at https://gamesense.gg/collections/frontpage/products/gamesense-radar this pad is probably the best non-Artisan control pad. If you do have Artisan money, the Artisan Zero is objectively a better mousepad.
TL;DR: If you're on a tight budget the QcK (and only the Edge) makes for a decent control pad, if you can afford a more expensive mousepad the Gamesense Radar and Artisan Zero are the way to go if you want a control pad.
